LAGOS DAILY- STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

"Hmmm! it's Monday again hustling mode activated...Man must chop; hard work pays! Bless my hustle Lord"...These were the words of Khalid as he walks down to the bus stop.
It's Lagos and as usual you see everyone going to and fro.

It is cloudy; it is about to rain, everyone's aim is to get a bus going their route as soon as possible.
Khalid finally got to the bus stop, after a very long walk from his house. Exercise is good for he body you know? Especially in this period of recession. I'm sure you understand.
James! as Mr Khalid

Minutes passed, yet, no bus going Khalid's way. "What a bad morning if only i had a car",he thought. This tall and beautiful lady,Kemi who has been turning down rides became desperate for one but i hope she gets another offer.
You will agree with me that when you await a thing for  a long time, you tend to get distracted by one thing or the other, especially in this part of Nigeria -Lagos...The manner in which you  react to such now depends on you...
Mr Khalid for few seconds forgot he was waiting for a bus as he sighted Kemi, who is furious, wondering what might have gone wrong. Did 'iyalaje' of 'iyana ipaja' die again? She assumed.
Khalid who is feeding his eyes was no longer anxious to get a bus. He had seen something to console himself. "Come rain; Come shine, I'm ready! I can't kill myself...After all, all na packaging".
Permit me to laugh out Loud...

Finally a bus came-by. I can feel their happiness because they have waited long enough except for Khalid who wasn't glad because it was remaining a seat. He couldn't afford to miss this opportunity so he slipped his hand into his suit pocket, brought out his card and stretched it to kemi. "Hey beautiful, here, if you don't mind", he said, stretching the card with the phrase- "Khalid Thompson's Wears" on it. He is self-employed, therefore, he owes no one an explanation for resuming late at work
Kemi looked at him, she looked at the card; the colour of his outfit matches his card (I'm sure a typical Nigerian can relate.) Kemi snubbed the gentleman and boarded the bus.

Hustling mode activated!

...Now the day is over!  Night is here already! Tomorrow is another day for another  hustling exercise...
So, work hard, pray hard and stay focused, either employed or self-employed. 😊
Thanks for reading❤.
